Chilled’s Top 15 Drops for August 2026

Bringing you what’s new and noteworthy each month. Designed for bartenders and connoisseurs, we choose our favorite bottles, barware and bold ideas stirring up the scene.

We usually stick to a tight Top 10, but with so many standout releases crossing our desks this month, we just couldn’t cut it down. Below are 15 exceptional drops worth sipping, sharing, and showing off.

Espolòn Extra Añejo

Espolòn is making a major move into ultra-premium tequila with its national launch of Extra Añejo (MSRP: $69.99). Aged for three years total, this 100% Blue Weber Agave spirit gets a cool double-cask treatment: two and a half years in American oak, followed by six months in French Chardonnay casks. That rare wine-cask finish layers rich toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, and sweet spice over Espolòn’s signature agave flavor. It is a super accessible entry into high-end extra-aged tequilas without the wildly steep price tag.

Ole Smoky Sparkling Moonshine Lemonades

Ole Smoky Distillery is officially jumping into the RTD space with its new Sparkling Moonshine Lemonades, just in time for warm weather. Built on a foundation of their signature White Lightnin’ Moonshine, these bubbly, fruit-forward refreshers come in at 100 calories, zero added sugar, and a sessionable 4.5% ABV. The line features four flavors: Blackberry Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Watermelon Lemonade, and Lightnin’ Lemonade. You can grab them nationwide in 8-can variety packs or single-serve Blackberry cans at retailers and online via olesmoky.com.

Luxardo Decaf Espresso Liqueur

Luxardo just launched its Decaf Espresso Liqueur (MSRP: $29.99 / 750ml, 27% ABV), a US-exclusive release created to bring full espresso flavor to any hour of the day. Made in Italy using decaffeinated Arabica beans from Brazil, Vietnam, and Uganda, a 25-day infusion process captures all the cocoa notes, essential oils, and rich body of a fresh espresso shot. With just 0.4mg of caffeine per ounce, it gives bartenders and home mixologists a seamless Espresso Martini base without the late-night jitters. Imported by Hotaling & Co., look for it at BevMo!, Total Wine & More, Eataly, and luxardousa.com.

Oishii Matcha Liqueur

Kintsugi Sake LLC is expanding into spirits with Oishii Matcha Liqueur (MSRP: $24.99 / 750ml, 15% ABV), a shelf-stable cream liqueur ready to fuel the Matchatini movement. The blend pairs ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha with Wisconsin dairy cream from a farm operating since the 1800s. It needs zero refrigeration after opening, boasts a two-year shelf life, and hits the sweet spot between earthy green tea and smooth creaminess. Try it in everything from Matcha Martinis to Margaritas and Piña Coladas. Rolling out now at Total Wine & More and top bars nationwide.

Six13 Fig & Apple Liqueur

Female-founded Six13 has introduced its new Fig + Apple Liqueur, a unique modifier sitting right in the sweet spot between vermouth, amaro, and fruit liqueur. Crafted to level up classics like the Margarita, Manhattan, Negroni, or a quick Spritz, it enhances base spirits without taking over the glass. The palate opens with sun-warmed fig and subtle spice before giving way to bright orchard fruit, toasted pecan, cardamom, and vanilla. It is a fantastic tool for both pros and home bartenders looking for instant botanical complexity.

Korbel Blackberry Brandy

Korbel Blackberry Brandy mixes bold, sun-ripened California blackberries with the brand’s classic California brandy. Handcrafted in small batches at Korbel’s artisan distillery using local grapes, the spirit is aged in fire-charred oak barrels to balance fresh fruit sweetness with warm, spicy oak character. It is an easy-drinking option for sipping neat, pouring over ice, or adding a fruity twist to classic brandy cocktails. Available in 50mL, 750mL (SRP: $14.00), and 1L sizes.

Garrison Brothers 2026 Laguna Madre

Garrison Brothers has set the summer release for its highly coveted 2026 Laguna Madre Texas Straight Bourbon (MSRP: $349.99 / 101 proof), alongside a debut Cask Strength Single Barrel version (MSRP: $409.99 / 135.4 proof). Aged for eight years—four in white American oak and four in rare French Limousin oak—the intense Texas heat creates a rich mahogany bourbon with notes of vanilla bean, hazelnut, saltwater taffy, and milk chocolate. Bottled in custom wooden display cases supporting coastal conservation nonprofit FlatsWorthy, the limited run drops August 8 at the Hye, Texas distillery before hitting e-commerce August 14 and select retail in September.
