Cedar Ridge Distillery has released the second installment of its Anniversary Edition Bourbon series, a limited release marking the Iowa distillery’s 21st anniversary.
Master Blender Murphy Quint created the 2026 edition using Cedar Ridge Iowa Bourbon, made from a mash bill of 74% corn, 14% rye and 12% malted barley. Quint finished the bourbon in five cask types: Madeira, Napa Cabernet, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Tawny Port and Tokaji.
“This year’s Anniversary Edition features some truly incredible cask-finished bourbons, including a few I’m working with for the first time. I wanted to keep a similar foundation to last year’s release with sherry and Tokaji finishes, but I chose PX sherry to work with instead of my usual Amontillado,” said Quint. “The Madeira and Napa Cabernet casks are what really push this blend in a new direction.”
Quint said the 2026 release builds on the previous Anniversary Edition: “The 2025 edition was our most popular release ever — I’m proud of how this one builds on that and excited for people to experience the 2026 version.”
This release explores Cedar Ridge’s variety of finishing casks, and helps highlight the distillery’s tradition of whiskey rooted in wine.
The 2026 Anniversary Edition Bourbon comes bottled at 112 proof and has a suggested retail price of $64.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Consumers can purchase the bourbon at Cedar Ridge Distillery in Iowa, through an online presale and at select retailers.
