Four Roses Distillery will release its 2026 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon on Oct. 10, marking the 19th edition of the annual release.
The barrel-strength bourbon blends four batches selected from the distillery’s 10 bourbon recipes. Four Roses non-chill filters the bourbon and bottles it at 109.2 proof. The blend includes a 14-year-old OBSK, a 14-year-old OESK, a 15-year-old OESV and a 23-year-old OESK.
“This has been an incredibly exciting year for Four Roses as we’ve explored new frontiers and introduced releases unlike anything we’ve done before,” said Brent Elliott, Four Roses Master Distiller. “Limited Edition Small Batch gives us a chance to return to a tradition we look forward to every year and celebrate the blending and craftsmanship at the heart of Four Roses. This year’s release brings together four exceptional batches, each over a decade in age, showcasing just how much depth and character we can create from the recipes that make Four Roses so unique.”
Four Roses describes the bourbon as having notes of apricot and oak on the nose, followed by baking spice, honey and wood on the palate. The finish includes fruit, vanilla and caramel.
The distillery plans to release approximately 16,800 bottles at a suggested retail price of $249. Select retailers nationwide will carry the release, and Four Roses Distillery Visitor Centers in Lawrenceburg, KY will also begin selling bottles on Oct. 10 while supplies last.
Four Roses Distillery, established in 1888, uses two mashbills and five proprietary yeast strains to produce 10 bourbon recipes. The company operates distilling and warehousing facilities in Lawrenceburg and Cox’s Creek, KY, respectively.
