Below are ten standout spirits worth sipping, sharing and showing off.
Built on an 1826 recipe found in John Jameson II’s handwritten notebook, Distiller’s Batch is the latest entry in Jameson’s premium Reserve Series. Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman triple-distills the malted and unmalted barley at Midleton before aging the whiskey across five distinct barrels: ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and virgin Irish, European, and American oak. The result is a layered pour opening with toasted oak, honeycomb, and baking spices, leading into dark chocolate, spicy toffee, and orange peel. Sip it neat or build it into a Manhattan.
SRP: $49.99 (46% ABV) | Rolling out nationwide this September.
Following last year’s sold-out debut, the Tennessee Whiskey Trail has dropped its second annual collaborative release. Blended at Old Glory Distilling Co. by owner Matt Cunningham, the 2026 expression combines hand-selected barrels from eleven state distilleries, aged a minimum of four years and bottled at a punchy 120 proof. Expect oak, nuttiness, and a touch of mint on the nose, followed by vanilla, tobacco, and a lingering spiced-honey finish.
SRP: $79.99 (120 Proof) | Available Sept. 1 at participating state distilleries and bottle shops.
Shiner paired up with multi-platinum country star Ella Langley for Dandelion, a limited-edition Honey Kölsch named after her chart-topping album. Brewed with real honey for a subtle floral sweetness, it hits with a balanced malt spine and a clean, crisp finish built for tailgates and live music. The release celebrates Shiner’s 117-year Texas roots and ongoing artist partnerships following their cameo in Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” music video.
SRP: Starting at $9.99/pack | Available across TX, OK, KS, KY, TN, and OH.
Buchanan’s is leaning into its popular Latin American pairing—scotch and coconut water—with Buchanan’s Coconut, a permanent new 35% ABV extension. House in a clear, redesigned bottle featuring coconut line art and the signature wax seal, the liquid brings toasted coconut and citrus aromatics over a light malt base. The palate leans creamy and vanilla-forward (think coquito) before drying out into a soft oak finish.
SRP: $29.99 (750 mL & 50 mL) | Available nationwide.
For the third and final installment in Brugal’s Colección Visionaria series, fifth-generation Maestra Ronera Jassil Villanueva Quintana selected native Dominican coconut as the core flavor driver. Using Brugal’s Aromatic Cask Toasting technique, fresh coconut is toasted inside new French oak barrels before being removed to make way for the aging rum. The process imparts a subtle, toasted complexity without overwhelming the spirit. Capped at fewer than 35,000 hand-signed bottles globally.
SRP: $69.99 | Available now at select national retailers.

Designed as a direct response to the Dirty Martini craze, Empirical Olive distills the herbal, nutty profile of Spanish Gordal and Manzanilla olives directly into a French wheat base. Sitting at 36% ABV, it skips the heavy brine for a silky, savory mouthfeel packed with notes of dark herbs, fresh-cut grass, and umami. It’s built for direct-from-the-freezer pours, Dirty Negronis, or twisting classic highballs.
SRP: $35 | Available nationwide.
Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero returns with Mijenta’s third Maestra Selection, focusing on ancestral production techniques. The tequila is cooked in volcanic stone ovens, crushed via tahona, fermented in wooden tanks, and stabilized in clay pots. That traditional handling yields a silky texture brimming with cooked agave, roasted pineapple, citrus, baking spice, and high-altitude minerality. The bespoke bottle and box feature work by Mexico City artist Sophia Castellanos, inspired by Otomí embroidery.
SRP: $119.99 | Available in limited quantities online and at select retailers.

Bruichladdich has released its annual Octomore 17 Series, continuing the Islay distillery’s exploration of super-heavily peated single malts. Rounding out the drop, 17.4 ($249.99; 108.2 PPM) brings rich Oloroso sherry and virgin French oak aging to the U.S. market for the first time on October 1st.
SRP: $204.99–$279.99 | 17.1–17.3 available now; 17.4 drops Oct 1.
Woodford Reserve’s 22nd Master’s Collection release turns its attention to barrel stave aging. Under Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall, the distillery used white oak staves weathered outdoors for five to seven years—drastically longer than the standard few months. That extended exposure breaks down harsh tannins and concentrates natural wood sugars, creating a deeply structured 100.4-proof bourbon with notes of dark fruit, toasted sugar, and spice.
SRP: $179.99 (700 mL) | Available at Woodford Reserve Distillery, select KY shops, and online (KY, NH, ND, NE, DC).
