As travelers rethink how they spend their evenings, the traditional “one last drink” is evolving into a more intentional part of the night. Rather than heading straight home after dinner, guests are looking for ways to linger, have one more cocktail and enjoy a small bite or sweet without committing to another full meal or late-night bar stop.
This shift is creating a new opportunity for bars and restaurants to turn the nightcap into an experience of its own, pairing cocktails with curated bites, elevated settings and a reason to stay out just a little longer. It’s particularly relevant for hotel bars.
Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge, located on the 16th floor of Lotte Hotel Seattle, is tapping into the trend with Charlotte Nightcap. The $35 experience is built around one petite cocktail, one savory bite and one sweet.
Available Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m.–10 p.m., the menu includes options such as Korean fried chicken sliders, prawn toast, black sesame macarons and blackberry mousse cake, paired with a petite cocktail and served with sweeping views of the city.
