Booker’s Bourbon Releases Southern Thunder Batch

Booker’s Bourbon has announced its third release of 2026, the Southern Thunder Batch.

The batch combines barrels from five production dates stored across five warehouses. The youngest barrels in the release aged for 7 years, 8 months and 14 days. The bourbon clocks in at 127.3 proof.

The release takes its name from Booker Noe, the former master distiller known for his voice. According to the brand, Noe used the phrase “DONE GOOD” to recognize work that met his standards. His son, Fred Noe, recalled the phrase as a form of praise that Booker did not offer often.

The batch draws from the following warehouse locations:

23% from the fifth floor of Warehouse 3

21% from the third floor of Warehouse G, also known as Waterfill

22% from the sixth floor of Warehouse 6

20% from the fourth floor of Warehouse 4

14% from the fourth floor of Warehouse M

All five warehouses have seven floors.

The brand’s tasting notes include vanilla and oak on the nose. The palate is described as “big and bold, and unmistakably Booker’s Bourbon.”

The suggested retail price is $99.99 per 750-ml. bottle.

This follows the release of Milkshake Batch.
