“Rye Not?”

Beverage Manager J Adams created the “Rye Not?” cocktail, which is available at Rhubarb, the Appalachian-rooted, seasonally-focused restaurant located in the heart of Asheville, North Carolina.

This is a whiskey lover’s dream with its harmonious taste profile of nutty pecan, spiced cherry, and mild chocolate overtones.

Rye Not?

Ingredients

2 oz. Toasted Pecan Rye Whiskey (house-made)
5 oz. Allspice Dram
.5 oz. Mulled-Cherry Port Wine (house-made)
2-3 Dashes of Chocolate Bitters
Garnish: Smoked Glass / Skewered Mulled Cherry

Preparation

Combine all ingredients and pour into a smoked coupe glass.
Garnish with skewered mulled cherry and enjoy!
