Geneva, Switzerland-based MSC Cruises in April announced a new beverage program called World’s Greatest Bars. The concept brings some of the most acclaimed bars to MSC Cruises’ ships to offer guests a unique experience at sea.
World-famous bars will create pop-ups on board selected MSC Cruises ships, each for a six-month time period. The pop-ups include the award-winning bars Paradiso and Sips, both from Barcelona, Spain. Maestros from each partnering bar personally and comprehensively train the onboard bar teams, passing on the secrets of each cocktail to retain the flavors and techniques that have made them famous. The program, which began April 1, will be available for a six-month activation with the Paradiso pop-up on board MSC World Europa and Sips on board MSC Euribia.
MSC Cruises, with a fleet of 22 ships with three new vessels due to be launched in 2025, 2026 and 2027, operates in more than 100 countries, offering cruises across five continents to more than 300 destinations. The line’s other innovative beverage concepts include Helios Wine Bar on MSC Euribia, an immersive digital experience for the next generation of wine lovers; The Gin Project on MSC World Europa, with more than 70 craft gins; and the Masters of the Sea microbrewery, also on MSC World Europa, where special-brew beer is made from desalinated seawater.
