MoM Seedlip Non-alcoholic Spirit Competition 2023 T&Cs
THE PROMOTER: The promoter is Atom Supplies Limited (company register number 03193057), trading as Master of Malt (MoM) and having its registered office at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, United Kingdom.
THESE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By entering this competition, entrants confirm they have read, understand and agree that these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy (and the way we process personal data) are binding to them. MoM reserves the right to amend these terms; to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend this competition at any time.
ELIGIBILITY: This competition is only open to private individuals acting in their capacity as retail consumers who are 18 years or older and are residents of the United Kingdom, excluding Northern Ireland. To be eligible, the shipping address for the winning entry must be in the UK. Ineligible entries (howsoever received) will be discarded. The competition is not open to any employees (and their immediate family) of the promoter or any of its associated companies. MoM reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) at any time and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who, or any entry which, it believes has breached any of these terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct which may undermine the fair and proper conduct of this competition.
ENTRY/COMPETITION PERIOD: This competition opens at 09:00:00 UK time on 01 January 2024 and closes at 23:59:59 UK time on 07 January 2024.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, eligible individuals must within the entry period purchase a qualifying product from the following list of products as available and listed on www.masterofmalt.com. For a purchase to be a valid entry: (i) it must be made on www.masterofmalt.com; (ii) it must be completed within the entry period (i.e. payment approved and order confirmation received); and all entrants must agree to MoM’s standard Consumer Terms of Business to complete the purchase (each being a qualifying purchase or qualifying entry). Multiple entries are permitted! Qualifying products:

WINNER(S): There will be 1 prize for 1 winner, who will be selected at random out of all qualifying entries shortly after the competition period. The selection of the winner made will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
PRIZE PROVIDER: The prize is provided by Diageo Great Britain Limited (Diageo). All travel and accommodation arrangements relating to the prize will be the sole responsibility of Diageo, who will be arranging the prize using a third party agency, Element London. MoM will not be responsible for any failure or delay in travel and accommodation arrangements.
THE PRIZE: The winner will win a trip for 2 people, the winner (who must be 18 years or older) may bring a guest (who must also be 18 years or older). The prize is strictly non-negotiable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for any equivalent cash value, cash alternative, or for other items. The prize package for two adults includes the following:
return train travel (First Class, if available) from a mainland Great Britain rail station to Canterbury;
return private railway station transfers to the hotel accommodation in Canterbury;
2 nights’ accommodation at the Pig at Bridge Place near Canterbury, based on sharing a double or twin room, including complimentary daily breakfast during your stay;
2-course lunch with drinks at hotel restaurant on one of the days during winner’s and guest’s stay, up to a maximum value of £50 per person, including service charge;
3e-course dinner with cocktails/mocktails at hotel restaurant on one of the evenings, up to a maximum value of £125 per person, including service charge;
3-course dinner with drinks at a Michelin Star gastropub in Bridge, up to a maximum value of £125 per person, including service charge;
1-hour spa treatment per person in The Potting Shed at The Pig Hotel, with a choice of options available; and
3-hour silver ring making workshop in Canterbury, including roundtrip transfers, tuition from professional silversmith, refreshments and all materials.
IMPORTANT BOOKING AND TRAVELLING RESTRICTIONS: The winner claims the prize subject to the following restrictions:
train travel is available from rail stations in mainland Great Britain only;
a valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation;
hotel accommodation is based on two adults sharing one double or twin room;
all prize elements are subject to availability;
the prize trip cannot be utilised from 21st December 2024 to 2nd January 2025 (inclusive) (Christmas and New Year), on any UK bank holidays or over Easter weekend;
the prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame;
all elements of the prize must be taken at the same time;
once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended;
both travellers must be aged 18 or over;
the prize excludes travel to your departing railway station, meals and drinks (except where stated above), additional excursions and attractions, treatments, car hire, tips, gratuities, spending money, personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize description set out above.
OTHER COSTS OR EXPENSES: Any other costs or expenses not listed that may incur in connection with the winner and their guest taking up the prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest.
AVAILABILITY TO TRAVEL: The winner and their guest will be solely responsible for ensuring that they will be available to travel and that will hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents incidental to the fulfilment of the prize on the dates specified.
CLAIMING THE PRIZE: The name of the winner will be announced on MoM’s blog as soon as practicable upon selection. MoM will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner via email or by telephone as soon as practicable. If any winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed the prize within 5 days of MoM contacting them, MoM reserves the right to offer the prize to another eligible entrant. MoM cannot accept any responsibility if any winner is unable to take up the prize or fails to claim the prize within the time limit as set out above. MoM may contact the winner for feedback in respect of the competition and/or prize and may use any feedback provided when announcing the results and promoting the competition or subsequent competitions.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The promoter will not be responsible for any entries that are delayed or lost for any reason (for example, due to technical error, payment error or connection failure). The promoter will not be responsible for delivery of the prize to any incorrect address. Insofar as is permitted by law, the promoter, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall in no circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any entrant who participates in the competition and/or the winner and their guest(s) who claim(s) the prize for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any direct, indirect or consequential losses arising out of or in connection with their participation in this competition, any failure or delays or postponements or cancellations in making the appropriate travel and accommodation arrangements as a result of the winner taking up the prize (including in relation to their guests), except where it is caused by the negligence of the promoter, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Competition entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
ELEMENT LONDON’S PRIVACY POLICY: MoM will provide Diageo’s prize agency’s contact details to the winner and the winner (and their guest) will be required to contact Element Lonodn to arrange the prize trip. The processing of personal data of the winner and their guest for the purposes of fulfilling the prize will be subject to Element London’s Privacy Policy in their capacity as data controller, a current copy can be found here.
GENERAL: These terms shall be governed by the law of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
