Superbowl Stunt Turns The Strat Into A Tequila Bottle

As players and fans alike prepare for some epic Superbowl festivities in Las Vegas, Tequila Don Julio 1942 brought itself to the forefront of celebrations in a big way. The spirit launched a first-of-its-kind stunt that transformed the tallest freestanding observation tower in the U.S., the Strat, into a life-size replica of the 1942 bottle lit up throughout Super Bowl weekend.

The Strat Hotel & Casino & Tower (formerly the Stratosphere) is a landmark reminiscent of Tequila Don Julio 1942’s iconic bottle shape, the company says. It took two full weeks to illuminate the Strat using cutting-edge projection technology to ensure the iconic symbol of celebration will be visible on the 1,149 foot landmark from Thursday, 2/8 until Sunday, 2/11 as a toast to attending fans and the newest Super Bowl champions.
