Savor Mediterranean Flavor at Conca Del Sogno, West Hollywood Pop-up, Starring Malfy Gin

Conca Del Sogno, the elite beach club hailing from the world-renowned Amalfi Coast in Nerano, Italy, delivers its authentic Italian cuisine straight from the Mediterranean Sea.

Further inspired by the historical Amalfi Coast, is Malfy Gin, the star of the show. It unifies this unique taste bud adventure by marrying every flavor together. Upon arriving to the chef’s special five course presentation, we were greeted with impeccable customer service, along with the first of four well balanced and masterful Malfy Gin libations. All ingredients were specifically chosen to enhance each gin’s elegant list of botanicals. A few of the concoctions were presented in specialty Malfy Gin branded copa glasses, colored alluringly blue like the sea.

To open the festivities, we enjoyed The Ravello, consisting of Con Limone, Malfy’s lemon flavored gin, as well as prosecco, Lillet Blanc, and basil syrup. It paired stunningly with our first appetizer, Calamari e Zucchine Fritti. The squid and zucchini were fried to perfection with a lemon aioli sauce that was to die for. The Sgroppino also featured Malfy Con Limone, and exquisitely coincided with the following two courses. The Insalata Conca contained fresh tomatoes, olives, capers and shaved celery, all bursting with flavor.

The Tartare di Tonno was an exotic and very fresh take on tuna tartare, entailing green apple and basil. We were especially blown away by our main course, Spaghetti alla Nerano, accompanied by flavors of zucchini, basil, black pepper, and pecorino romano. We loved matching this with The Amalfi, a beautiful rendition of a Negroni, using Malfy Originale and blood orange. Lastly, their pink lemonade spritz featured Malfy Gin Rosa, a dazzling grapefruit flavored gin. It danced off the tongue and marvelously complemented the luscious Berry Panna Cotta dessert.
