Travelers often like to lean into local culture by sampling regional beverages such as wines or beers made in the area. Some hotels are adding to the experience by partnering with local breweries to develop exclusive beers just for their properties.
For instance, Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, NY, has its own house beer called The Getaway, brewed with longtime friends at Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon, NY. A crisp, classic pilsner, The Getaway boasts notes of lemon over Motueka and Saaz hops and is suited for sipping lakeside or in the dining room. It’s available in cans with two playful labels reflecting the sisters behind the estate.
Sea Island Resort in Sea Island, GA, a few years ago partnered with Athens, GA-based Creature Comforts Brewing Co. to offer an exclusive Sea Island 1928 Classic Lager. The helles lager, available year round at the property on draft and in cans, refers to the resort’s founding year of 1928.

The Wells Hotel in Cashiers, NC, is located just steps away from Whiteside Brewing Co., which offers a curated selection of regional craft brews. This outdoor social hub serves as the heart of the property, where guests can sip on locally sourced IPAs and lagers that mirror the cool, high-altitude air of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Iconic hotel The Don CeSar in Florida’s St. Pete Beach is renowned for its Art Deco inspired design and dazzling pink exterior. The hotel, which opened in 1928, worked with Green Bench Brewing in St. Petersburg, FL, on its own Pink Palace Daze, a hazy IPA teeming with tropical fruit flavors.
And the Marriott Irvine Spectrum in Irvine, CA, offers an Orange Vintage signature wheat ale brewed exclusively in partnership with Anaheim, CA-based Unsung Brewing Company. Crafted as a tribute to Orange County’s storied citrus heritage, this easy-drinking pour bursts with bright mandarin orange flavor and a delicate citrus blossom aroma. It’s available throughout Marriott Irvine Spectrum, including all dining outlets, poolside, banquets and to-go from The Pantry.
