Since I made this Chick-fil-A Potato Salad recipe with it a couple years ago, I knew it would make a great sauce for a cool, refreshing pasta salad, and I was right! I mixed it with just a bit of mustard and apple cider vinegar for a smooth and tangy dressing that contrasts nicely with the crunchiness of the chopped vegetables in this salad. It’s a keeper!

Luckily, this recipe is pretty simple and only requires a few simple ingredients beyond the pantry staples. Here’s what’s on my shopping list:

Elbow macaroni

Green bell pepper, cored, seeded, and diced

Celery, finely diced

Red onion, finely diced

Large hard-boiled eggs, chopped

Chick-Fil-A sauce

Freshly chopped parsley

How to Make Chick-fil-A Macaroni Salad

This pasta salad recipe is easy to make and comes together in under 30 minutes!

I like to wash and dice all my vegetables ahead of time, so that’s the first step on my list.

Next, I prepare the elbow macaroni according to the package directions for “al dente”. Then I drain the noodles and set them aside to cool.

In a large bowl, I combine the macaroni noodles, green pepper, celery, red onion, chopped parsley, and hard-boiled eggs and gently mix them all together. In a small bowl, I whisk together the Chick-fil-A sauce, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Then I pour it over the pasta salad and stir to coat.

Finally, I cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving, as this gives more time for the flavors to develop.

Ingredients

Put the 8 ounces cooled macaroni, half green pepper, 2 stalks diced celery, red onion, 2 chopped hard boiled eggs, 1 cup Chick-fil-A® sauce, 2 tablespoons parsley, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper into a large mixing bowl. Stir well until thoroughly combined.
Cover the bowl tightly with tin foil or plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
