Grilled Corn On The Cob

Grilled corn is simple and so versatile. Eat it straight off the cob with butter, cut it into saladscasseroles, or serve it chilled. The tender kernels with a touch of smoky char are pure summer heaven.

Why We Make This All Summer Long

Perfect char every time: The key is high heat and turning the corn every few minutes so it gets those delicious char marks without drying out or burning.

Husks On or Off? You can grill corn either way, but removing the husks gives the best smoky char.

Easy Summer Side: This corn recipe goes with everything and is perfect for BBQs, cookouts, and weeknight dinners.

Grilled Corn Ingredients

Corn: Fresh corn on the cob is BEST! If you can’t find it, you can usually find it in the freezer section at the grocery store.

How to Make the Perfect Grilled Corn

We’ve been loving grilled corn, and I’m excited to share how to make it. The grill gives it that smoky flavor. It’s the perfect side for all your summer grilling recipes, especially alongside juicy burgers, grilled chicken, steak, or BBQ ribs.

Prep: Shuck 6 ears of fresh sweet corn. Peel off the corn husks and remove the silks.

Cook: Preheat the grill on high. Place the corn on the grill and cook, turning every few minutes. Grill until all sides are cooked, about 12-15 minutes.

Serve: Remove the cooking corn from the grill and serve with a side of salted butter, then season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Alyssa’s Pro Grilled Corn on the Cob Tips

How Many? You can grill as many cobs as you wish, or however many will fit on your grill.

Grill Pan: You can definitely use a grill pan, but timing may vary.

Temperature Tip: Grill at a higher heat. I like mine almost at 500 degrees F. Give the grill a chance to preheat and get hot so you get the grill marks, about 10 minutes!

Must Have Tools For This Recipe

Vegetable Brush: Helps remove dirt and stubborn corn silk before grilling.

Grilling Tongs: The long handles make it easy to safely turn the corn over high heat for even charring on all sides.
