Piper-Heidsieck Releases Marilyn Monroe Centennial Champagne
Piper-Heidsieck has launched a limited-edition Champagne release to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of actress Marilyn Monroe.
The release centers on a 750-ml. bottle featuring a portrait of Monroe developed in partnership with her estate. The bottle carries Piper-Heidsieck’s red label design and includes Monroe’s signature.
The Champagne house cited Monroe’s longstanding connection to the brand. Monroe reportedly favored Piper-Heidsieck during the 1950s and 1960s, and once referred to it as her favorite Champagne.
According to the company, the relationship extended beyond public endorsements. During the 1950s, Piper-Heidsieck created silver-plated ice buckets engraved with Monroe’s name and New York address.
The centennial release follows another Monroe-related project by the company. In December 2025, Piper-Heidsieck and artist Russell Young unveiled a series of 12 charity bottles at Art Miami. The bottles incorporated Young’s diamond dust technique and a custom pink color scheme. The company said proceeds from U.S. sales support organizations including The Art of Elysium and Film at Lincoln Center.
Piper-Heidsieck also serves as the official Champagne partner for events commemorating Monroe’s centennial year.
In the U.S., planned activities include an event connected to the opening of the Marilyn Monroe Exhibition at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. The exhibition runs from May 31, 2026 through February 28, 2027. Film at Lincoln Center will also host a public celebration on July 28, 2026.

The limited-edition Marilyn Monroe bottles will be available in select markets during 2026 while supplies last. The suggested retail price is $70.99.
