Bringing together thousands of bartenders, bar owners, beverage professionals, distributors, importers, educators, and brands from around the world, the two-day event delivered interactive experiences, industry-leading education, and an unparalleled showcase of the trends driving the hospitality industry forward.

Major Product Launches & Emerging Trends

BCB Brooklyn once again served as a key platform for discovery, with attendees getting an early look at new product launches, portfolio expansions, and innovations. Notable showcases included:

Chinola Fresh Fruit Liqueur’s fourth premium expression: Guava
Badger Bevs’ new premium mixer flavors: Cucumber Celery and Yuzu Lime
Gray Whale Vodka and the relaunch of Redemption Whiskey
Ritual Zero Proof’s newly nationally available RTDs

Growing categories such as no- and low-alcohol beverages, ready-to-drink cocktails, and caffeine-forward flavors generated massive interest. Specifically, espresso and matcha emerged as defining flavor profiles across full-proof, low-ABV, and non-alcoholic formats, blurring the line between energy and indulgence.

“From the very beginning, our goal for 2026 was to be more intentional about every aspect of the attendee experience,” said Jackie Williams, Event Vice President for BCB Brooklyn.

“Seeing the vision come to life across Industry City and hearing such positive feedback from attendees, exhibitors, and partners has been incredibly rewarding.”

Expanded Education & Main Stage Highlights

Spanning the Main Stage, Workshop Stage, Liquid Lounges, Park Street University, and the VIP Lounge, the lineup offered expert-led sessions focused on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of hospitality.

The Main Stage, curated by Head of Education Lynnette Marrero and the committee, tackled pressing realities:

What Breaks First in Bar Operations Under Pressure examined staffing shortages and operational friction.
After the Advocacy Hangover focused on the long-term work required to retain talent.
Border Crossings: Bringing Latin American Spirits to Bar & Feed explored the bartender’s role as a cultural storyteller.
Sessions like For the Love of Vinegar, Standardized Drink Recipes and Costing, and Carbon Footprint equipped operators with practical tools for efficiency and sustainability.

Hands-On Learning at the Workshop Stage

New for 2026, the Workshop Stage brought a practical dimension to the show:

Mi Campo Tequila demonstrated how product design and barrel finishing influence flavor and terroir storytelling.
The Art of Blending showcased whiskey evolution with insights from High West and Nelson’s Green Brier.
The Bartender’s Content Kit provided immediate lessons in creating high-quality cocktail photography and video content using only a smartphone.
Additional highlights included Redefining the NA Space with Carl Radke and Richie Millwater, and The Smart Spirits Playbook, which explored leveraging technology and AI for authentic brand growth.

Experiential Programming & Courtyard Activations

Beyond the classroom, BCB Brooklyn brought the community together through live activations across Industry City’s courtyards:

Courtyard Bar East featured a rotating lineup of guest shifts from industry stars like Richie Millwater (Soft Bar), Demi Natoli (White Limozeen), Lynnette Marrero, Gelo Honrade (After Eden), and Yordi Coyotecatl (Sugar Monk).
Pride on the Pour, in partnership with the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, celebrated LGBTQIA+ voices in hospitality with advocacy-focused and queer-owned brands.
The Garnish Garden invited guests to personalize cocktails with fresh herbs, while Between Shifts (led by Samantha Casuga) offered breathwork and meditation sessions to help attendees recharge.
The debut of Citrus Social closed out Day One with citrus-inspired pairings and a live performance from Brooklyn-based DJ FRiTZo.

Storytelling and Industry Recognition

Authors Alley: Presented by Lofty Pigeon Books, this space hosted 23 book signings and intimate dialogues covering cocktail culture, history, and the sober-curious movement.
Awards & Competitions: The event hosted the 17th Annual New York International Spirits Competition Awards Ceremony. Meanwhile, the BCB Brooklyn Brand Accelerator Pitch Competition (presented by Women of the Vine & Spirits®) saw Rico Rico take top honors among finalists Estate 98, Matka Wodka, and Thinkers Distillery.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Exhibitors and attendees alike praised the show’s unique ability to bring key decision-makers together.

“BCB Brooklyn is such a fantastic and smart investment of time and money… There’s no other show as effective for our work as BCB Brooklyn, as it’s truly the hub of everything we need to know for our business,” noted beverage consultant Pamela Wiznitzer.

BCB Brooklyn is already looking ahead, officially locking in its return to Industry City on June 8 and 9, 2027.
