Go Big or Go Home: Tres Agaves Launches The Great Garnish Takeover

Move over, basic lime wheels! The era of the maximalist garnish has officially taken over the backbar.

Tres Agaves has just launched The Great Garnish Takeover, a vibrant new campaign celebrating the art of audacious, over-the-top cocktail presentation. To pull it off, the organic tequila and mixer brand teamed up with Olive My Pickle—the fermentation-forward brand famous for its live-culture pickles, olives, kimchi, and krauts.

The campaign challenged top cocktail creators to step outside the traditional citrus box and develop bold, inventive tequila serves where the presentation is just as impactful as the liquid in the glass. From towering, savory olive stacks to unexpected pickle-brine infusions, the activation proves that a larger-than-life garnish doesn’t just look great on a menu—it completely transforms the flavor profile and drinking experience.

Brine & Sunshine

Ingredients

1 ½ oz. Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila
¾ oz. Carrot juice
½ oz. Fresh Lime
½ oz. Serrano-Infused Agave Syrup
½ oz. Olive My Pickle Pickle Brine

Preparation

Shake with ice, strain over fresh ice into a salt-rimmed glass.
Garnish with parmesan crips, pepper-stuffed olives, a spicy dill pickle slice, local carrot and a serrano pepper.

Spicy Pickle and Tomato Margarita

Ingredients

2 oz. Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila
2 oz. Tres Agaves Spicy Jalapeño Mix
½ oz. Lime Juice
¾ oz. Orange Juice
½ oz. Olive My Pickle Spicy Dill Pickle Brine

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and pour into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a tomato slice, dried orange slice and serve with mini tortilla chips dusted with dried tomato, dill and lime zest.

Shrimp Cocktail Bloody Mary

Ingredients

2 oz. Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila
4 oz. Tres Agaves Bloody Mary Mix
1 oz. Olive My Pickle Spicy Dill Pickle Brine
½ oz. Ketchup
½ oz. Lemon Juice
½ oz. Worcestershire Sauce
Couple dashes of Hot Sauce

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Shake and pour into a highball glass over ice.
Garnish with shrimp, lemon and a pickle on the rim.

Olive A Good Martini

Ingredients

2 oz. Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila
¼ oz. Trincheri Dry Vermouth
¼ oz. Blanc Vermouth
1 barspoon Olive Brine
Olive My Pickle Red Pepper Stuffed Olives

Preparation

Stir with ice.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with as many Olive My Pickle red pepper stuffed olives as humanly possible!
