Heaven Hill Launches Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash

Heaven Hill Distillery announces the launch of Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash, a new expression that brings together two distinct mashbills in one Bottled-in-Bond bourbon. The release joins the Heaven Hill portfolio, alongside Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond, the Heaven Hill Heritage Collection and Heaven Hill Grain to Glass.

A first-of-its-kind release, Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash unites two-thirds traditional bourbon mashbill (78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley) with one-third wheated bourbon mashbill (68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley), both aged for nine years and bottled at 100 proof in accordance with the strict standards established by the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The result is a layered, balanced Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey that showcases the richness and structure of traditional bourbon alongside the softer, rounded character imparted by wheat, the company says.

Heaven Hill developed Double Mash to demonstrate both its deep understanding of bourbon production and the unique opportunities that exist within the Bottled-in-Bond designation. While wheated bourbon has become one of the whiskey world’s most sought-after styles, it is not recognized as a separate legal classification under U.S. whiskey regulations. That distinction allowed Heaven Hill’s whiskey makers to thoughtfully unite traditional and Wheated Bottled-in-Bond Bourbons into a single expression.

Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash will be available beginning August 2026 at a suggested retail price of $49.99 in limited quantities nationwide.
