Old Grand-Dad 7-Year Bottled-in-Bond Returns for 2026

The James B. Beam Distilling Co. has released the 2026 edition of Old Grand-Dad 7-Year Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, marking the second annual release of the expression.

The bourbon follows the requirements of the Bottled-in-Bond Act, with each annual release produced from a single distillation season. The 2026 release was distilled and barreled during the fall of 2018.

Old Grand-Dad 7-Year Bottled-in-Bond uses the brand’s high-rye bourbon recipe and comes bottled at 100 proof. The release draws inspiration from historical Old Grand-Dad bottlings, according to the company.

The suggested retail price is $39.99 per 750-ml. bottle.

According to distillery notes, the bourbon has deep copper color, aromas of caramel and vanilla, flavors of caramel with notes of charred oak and vanilla and a long finish with caramel notes.

From Beam, this follows the recent release of Little Book Chapter 10, ‘All the Wiser’.
