The gin earned a perfect 100-point score in the 2026 Chilled Awards. Judges awarded perfect 10.0 scores for aromatics, initial palate, balance, finish, style accuracy, and overall impression, value and packaging.
What the Judges Said
Judges found the gin crystal clear and brilliant in appearance, with an aromatic nose of lavender flowers, bright citrus blossom, and classic piney juniper. The palate was described as crisp, light, and lush, opening with sweet lavender, bright citrus, and balanced botanical spice.
The panel also praised its light-to-medium mouthfeel, honeyed floral texture, and layered complexity of fresh citrus, lavender, juniper, and honeyed spice. Its finish was polished and long, with floral and citrus botanicals lingering beautifully.
What Makes It Noteworthy
Launched in the U.S. in 2026, Peach Rose is Highclere Castle Gin’s first fruity-floral line extension. Inspired by the summer gardens of Highclere Castle, it is made with estate botanicals including oil from the Lady Carnarvon Rose, estate-produced honey, and Italian white peaches grown on the estate during the summer. Bottled at 40% ABV, the expression was created to bridge the brand’s traditional London Dry structure with a more contemporary fruit-forward profile.

The Chilled Awards judges gave Peach Rose a 9.8 for Mixability Potential / Sipper, highlighting it as an exceptional neat pour with the structure to elevate a high-end Martini. Its peach, rose, lavender, citrus, juniper, and honeyed notes also give bartenders room to explore bright, elegant serves where the gin can remain the focus rather than disappear behind other ingredients.
The brand says Peach Rose was designed to shine both on the rocks and in cocktails, making it a natural fit for a simple chilled serve as well as modern riffs on classic gin drinks.
