Curaleaf Opens 77th Florida Medical Cannabis Dispensary

Curaleaf has opened a medical cannabis dispensary in Riverview, FL, bringing its total number of dispensaries in the state to 77.

The Riverview location marks Curaleaf’s eighth Florida dispensary opening this year. The company now operates 178 retail locations nationwide.

Curaleaf said it is focusing its Florida expansion on areas it considers underserved. The company said medical cannabis currently reaches about 4% of Florida’s population.

The company pheld a grand opening celebration at the Riverview location on Sept. 18 and 19. The event included brand activations, in-store promotions and giveaways.
